1. Introduction
Ryvie is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our service.
2. Data collected
2.1 Google authentication
When you sign in to Ryvie via Google, we only collect:
- Your email address: to create and identify your account
- Your Google identifier (OpenID): to secure your authentication
We do not collect any other data from your Google account (no access to your contacts, calendar, or other Google services).
2.2 Dropbox synchronization (rDrive)
If you use the rDrive app to synchronize your files with Dropbox:
- Synchronization happens directly from your device (your personal Ryvie)
- Ryvie (the company) has no access to your Dropbox files
- Only your Ryvie device communicates with your Dropbox account to synchronize your files
Important: Ryvie does not collect any data from Dropbox. We do not see your files, we do not access your profile information, and we do not send any email notifications. The Dropbox connection is established solely between your Ryvie device and your Dropbox account, without passing through our servers.
3. Use of data
We use your data only to:
- Email address (Google): allow you to sign in to your Ryvie account and ensure the security of your account
Regarding rDrive and Dropbox: synchronization is entirely local (between your Ryvie device and Dropbox). Ryvie (the company) neither sees nor accesses your Dropbox files.
We do not send any email notifications that are unsolicited, and we do not use your data for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Data sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data remains strictly confidential and is used only as part of the operation of Ryvie.
